Once every year, thousands of Marvel collectors from around the world gather together online to watch Near Mint Condition and vote on their most-wanted omnibus titles. That time approaches – time for the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus 14th Annual Secret Ballot! This post explains every Marvel Solo Hero omnibus from E to L that does NOT exist – including Echo, Elsa Bloodstone, Frankenstein, Hawkeye, Hellcat, Hercules, The Hood, Howard the Duck, Jack of Hearts, Jeff The Landshark, Ka-Zar, Kang, Killraven, & Kingpin.

As one of the organizers of the poll, I work closely with Tigereyes and a team of Mapping Minties to be sure Marvel’s entire publishing history has been mapped, with every issue fitting somewhere into an omnibus volume to fill your oversize Marvel shelf. Then, we’ll kick off the poll on Near Mint Condition on March 22, 2026.

Note that Captain America (includes Falcon), Daredevil & Elektra, Heroes For Hire (includes Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, & Luke Cage), Silver Surfer & Guardians of the Galaxy (includes Galactus), and X-Men Solo Characters (includes Emma Frost, Gambit, & Kitty Pryde) already have their own posts.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for Marvel Omnibus fans – time for the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus 13th Annual Secret Ballot! This post explains every Marvel Solo Hero omnibus that does NOT exist from H to M (that we haven’t mentioned yet) – all of which will appear as options on the 2025 poll.

For the next two weeks, I’ll be covering Marvel’s entire publishing history by mapping missing omnibus volumes to fill in every gap in your Marvel oversize shelf! That’s all leading to the kickoff of the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus 13th Annual Secret Ballot on Near Mint Condition on April 28, 2025.

Marvel Solo Heroes Omnibus Mapping (A-M) for the Tigereyes Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus 12th Annual Secret Ballot

Until April 5, I’ll be loosely mapping missing and most-wanted Marvel omnibus volumes every day! Today you’re in for a LOT of mapping, because this post covers every non-mutant, non-Spider solo hero I have yet to cover! That’s more than 100 maps of potential omnibuses for dozens of amazing Marvel characters starts here (and continues in the next post)!

It’s the eleventh week of new comics in 2018, and This Week in X has six new titles to review – so many that I mistakenly omitted one the first time I edited this video. I’ve never had to count as high as six before!

This week, I cover:

All-New Wolverine #32, a pleasant (if pandering) one-shot epilogue to “Orphans of X”
Astonishing X-Men #9, a dull middle chapter that does a lot of telling rather than showing
New Mutants – Dead Souls #1, a solid hit for lovers of every era of New Mutants
Old Man Logan #36, which flirts with some heavy themes before turning into a MacGuffin hunt
Weapon X #15, a surprisingly satisfying (and unsurprisingly bloody) tussle
X-Men Blue #23, far and away the best issue of this series and a return to form for Cullen Bunn

Marvel’s Most-Wanted Omnibuses of 2016 – #4 and 3

Omnibus on Shelf Welcome back for the next pair of books from the Most-Wanted Marvel Omnibus secret ballot by TigerEyes. I covered #5 & 6 in the last installment.

Today’s installment of the next pair of books on the survey is a pair of prohibitively classic runs – one from the early 70s and another from the mid-80s. Even without the ballot results in front of me, I’d probably name these as two of the most famous single-creator streaks in Marvel’s pre-00s history.

For one of the runs I even took the unusual, exceedingly-rare step of recruiting a guest author to make sure I’ve got the details right.
