The Krisis Pick of the Week: Despite my absolute fervor for The Nice House by the Sea (2024) #6, I have to give my pick to Shazam! (2023) #21 – the final issue of the series. Josie Campbell found the heart and humor in this title over the past year in a way that made me reconnect with a love I have for the Shazam family that I often can’t locate in DC’s sometimes cynical uses of the characters.

Debating our list of Evergreen Daredevil Stories – LIVE on Near Mint Condition

Are you ready to rumble? Today – February 27, I’m live with Near Mint Condition to share my list of Evergreen Daredevil stories – that means the Daredevil stories should never go out of print!

I’ll be co-hosting this debate with Uncanny Omar of Near Mint Condition and a panel of amazing guests. We will each share our picks for Daredevil evergreen stories… and then we’ll fight tooth and nail over our officially endorsed final list of Evergreen Daredevil Stories.

It’s the stream that is half serious recommendations, half a cut-throat game show of all of us trying to block other people’s recommendations so that all of our own make the list.

The Krisis Pick of the Week: Joshua Willamson’s Superman (2023) #23 had reached the rare point that I’m thinking about the book randomly during unrelated moments of my day, wondering where he will take things next. I’m a sucker for a Doomsday story, especially one that plays with his origins and purpose. This is about as fun as Superman gets for me! However, it was a very close call between picking this and Batman: The Long Halloween – The Last Halloween (2024) #5 (of 10) – featuring The Joker as rendered by Bill Sienkiewicz.
